A Prescription for Paper Cuts

Released in 2005, the album is a product of two years of extensive and intense work in and outside of the studio, during which the band has explored the boundaries of several genres within the realm of rock music

Deep Child

Solstice Coil's first video. Written by Shir Deutch and directed by Amir Armel in the summer of 2006, it recaptures the story of the protagonist of the graphic novel that appears on the album, only from a slightly different angle.

So after many happy years with my trustworthy axe, I have finally decided to sell it. This is your chance to buy authentic Solstice Coil gear! Unlocking maps on Mio C520 with MioMap\iGo

Apr 3rd, 2009, 22:38:10

If you happen to own one of these, and to have acquired new maps that when loaded to the device claim that they're incompatible with your license, this is the way to unlock them. Don't forget to backup your files\maps before you overwrite them.

Disclaimer: I take no responsibility if this screws up your device\computer in any way, or if for some reason the GPS somehow makes you drive your Mercedes into a river. I didn't make these files, and I'm not hosting them. I'm not affiliated with Mio, any of the sites I've mentioned or the idiot that drove her car into a river.

So where were we? Ah -

1. Connect the device to your computer via USB. You should see two new mass storage drives - one for the device itself, and one for its SD card.

2. Update to the latest version from Mio through their "MioMap v3 Updater tool".

3. Go to this website, scroll down to the bottom and download the files.

4. Copy them to both the device and the SD card, overwriting the existing files

5. Copy your new maps (.fbl files) to the maps folder on the SD card

6. Reboot your device (by holding the power button and then choosing reboot)

7. Serve cold

Apr 3rd, 2009, 20:19:52

These are not drums

We're happy to announce that we've completled drum recordings for our second studio album, yet untitled. (And no, it's not titled "yet untitled"). The recordings took place in Bardo Studios with the help of Gil Teleman and Daniel Anglister, and were performed by our very own Yatziv Caspy. And there was much rejocing!

she says it's so good, when it's so good, if this is so good, then it's no good

Bar us from Bar Refaeli

Feb 21st, 2009, 13:04:05
Drooling - good for web traffic or not?

For some strange reason, every once in a while we get a couple of stray visitors that search for Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli and end up reaching this post, which really has nothing to do with her. That was always odd, and mildly amusing. The post in mention has the words "Bar Refaeli" in it but that's pretty much it. No links, no picture, no nothing that seems like a good reason for a search engine to index our website in relation to said supermodel. Since it didn't bring too many visitors in, I didn't care all that much.

Now, somewhere in the last few days I've received mail from our web hosting company claiming that we're at 20GB(!) over our bandwith limit. That is, people downloaded 20GB worth of stuff from our website.

20GB? What the fuck? I had to have a look for myself. I started to get excited - maybe some important music site linked us? Maybe we featured on some publication? So I went ahead and checked, and after further inquiry on google analytics I've discovered this:

Our site was completely overrun by horny people! Not only that but -

Holy crap! We've had almost 9000 unique visitors and almost 26,00 page views, hitting that page alone and for no apperant reason! Is this the weirdest thing or what?
