A Prescription for Paper Cuts

Released in 2005, the album is a product of two years of extensive and intense work in and outside of the studio, during which the band has explored the boundaries of several genres within the realm of rock music

Deep Child

Solstice Coil's first video. Written by Shir Deutch and directed by Amir Armel in the summer of 2006, it recaptures the story of the protagonist of the graphic novel that appears on the album, only from a slightly different angle.

Thoughts of Passing Absence

Woohoo! New Site!

Oct 9th, 2007, 12:57:04

So it feels like it took forever, and it might not be so far from the truth. The old site was pretty, true, and it served us well for 4 years, but alas, there is always time for a change.

We have taken many small steps in these 4 years, and a few huge leaps. We've grown, changed, we've met many new friends and bid farewell to some close ones as well. We've accomplished so much, and yet the road is still unwinding. We've learned much, but more importantly , we unlearned certain things that kept us in place.

And as for our music, why not listen for yourself? On the player above you can check out the newest track from our upcoming album, "Human Again" which talks about... well, something. Don't forget to see us live on the 20th this month at the Koltura!

On a personal note, I'd like to thank Lior Dayan for taking these amazing IR shots and inspiring the concept for this site.

Some major updates

Oct 9th, 2007, 14:48:20

As you may or may not have noticed, the site had seen some major updates. These include some new songs, a smaller picture at the top of the page for those of you without huge monitors, and of course, this new blog, where you can read some band news and the different members' thoughts, ideas and rants.

I would like to take this opportunity to mention that this site has been developed using the amazing PHP lightweight MVC framework CodeIgniter, which I highly recommend for anyone who's interested in swift, elegant development of PHP applications.

Be sure to check out the new songs - personally, I think that they're awesome.
